volcanoes
Volcanoes are a natural occurring object but it takes thousands and thousands of years to make one. A Volcano is a vent for the carbon dioxide deep deep in the earth when all the carbon dioxide builds up it goes out the vent of a volcano. there are three different states volcanoes can be in like active, dormant or extinct. A active volcano is active there is always smoke coming out of it and it erupts a lot. Dormant is when a volcano hasent erupted for 200 years or so but it can still erupt at any time. A extinct volcano is a volcano that will never erupt again. most of the time after a volcano erupts the ash and lava burns every thing down but after it rains a couple of times the plants will grow back using the ash for nutrients.
Composite volcano
A shield volcano is a volcano that is made conpletely out of lava. It has very small sloping sides. The shield volcano doesn't erupt like most volcanoes as the lava slowly oozes down the sides instead of exploding. That's why the sides are so small. The most famous shield volcanoes are the Hawaiian islands. The plate is shifting over a hot spot and when it moves it creates a new volcano.
Cinder volcano
The cinder volcano is the most dangerous volcano of them all. Not only does super hot lava come out little bits of rock and ash come out and destroy everything in its path. The cinder volcano may be the most dangerous but it is the simplest volcano. The cinder volcano has only one vent and these volcanoes only appear by other volcanoes.
Strata volcano
The strata volcano is one of the volcanoes that is made out of cinder and ash. Some strata volcanoes are the biggest volcanoes in the world. A strata volcano is shaped like a big cone. It erupts like a normal volcano which is quiet violent.
